<p>To each his own, i respect your opinion but you have only reinforced my prior statements. You are a generalist/populist and follow what most people abide by which are rankings. Your general perception of Northeastern being behind BU and BC is prevalent and widley accepted throughout these forums. Having friends that attend Northeastern and Queens does not mean you have a solid understanding of what the schools offer and its clearly evident through your prior posts as you have contradicted yourself on several occasions. As I stated before I do not have a solid understanding of CUNY Queens which is why I did not make any derogatory comments against it. </p>
<p>I chose Northeastern over BU and BC and other higher ranked schools due to the overall strength of my particular major and coop, which was a big catalyst. In no way shape or form is there any sort of sustainable evidence where you can say that academically BU or BC is the clear winner over NEU. Sure you can say BU and BC have a better reputation but beyond that its all marginal and insignificant.</p>
<p>here is some of my anecdotal evidence as to why people need to take advice with a grain of salt, you just cannot trust this type of advice.</p>
<p>*The only reason people go there is because it is in boston and they could not get into another boston school (BU/BC…). </p>
<p>*(especially honors… which is way more selective than northeastern)</p>
<p>*and trust me, northeastern univeristy will not open any extra doors</p>
<p>12-18k, relativley speaking is not a huge amount of debt. </p>
