<p>$12-$18k in debt is just not that much. At top, assuming Stafford at 6.8%, it would be around $220/mo for 10 years, in inflated dollars. That difference - $2,640/year in net salary - might be made up rather quickly if your job placement coming out of Northeastern is more “advanced” as a result of a job following on from an internship opportunity.</p>
