CUNY Queens College vs Northeastern University

Anonymous91,

My argument is that most CCers speak with nothing to back up their arguments like yourself. Here I cite another example that you claim, "but its not like an employer (especially in NY) would care if you went to northeastern or queens college (especially honors… which is way more selective than northeastern). I had a 3.7 with an SAT hovering around 2200 and did not make honors. I reapplied this year and still did not get in. Northeastern attracts students from all over the country where as most of the CUNY schools are labeled commuter which is a fact. On what merits can you base that Northeastern students could not get into BU or BC and that CUNY Queens has a better honors program? This is my only problem with your statements.

Northeastern has mastered the coop philosophy and have been doing it for over 100 years. I highly doubt that CUNY Queens will have better opportunities than northeastern when it comes to finding internships in NY. We have partnerships with over thousands of companies throughout the world. A fact that CUNY Queens cannot claim. In terms of job placement especially in this economy its definietly worth it.

Im not here to argue but to clear my schools name because you bash it with unwarranted comments.
