I applied mega early as a transfer student to City College, Hunter, Baruch, Brooklyn and I haven’t heard a word from any of them. I check my application status literally every hour of day because I’m soooo anxious lol and it hasn’t changed. I submitted my application and supporting documents on August 18, nearly a whole month before the deadline…so I don’t understand why it’s been nearly 2 months since I’ve applied and haven’t heard anything. Has anyone else applied for the Spring 2015 and heard anything back??? Thanks guys :)

Baruch just started sending acceptance emails. Not sure about the others.

Ohh okay, thanks for the info! well hopefully I’ll find out soon! I’m hoping for Hunter or City College

Should be within the next ten days or so. Good luck

I’m dying to get the results as well. I applied to Queens College.

I called CUNY last monday and automated message said the notification will be made within two weeks…
And it’s almost been two weeks… I don’t know If I should called the admission office directly.

Yeah waiting sucks. Just give them a call and see if they have any updates on your application status.

I was going to call them next Monday If I did not get the notification till today.

and I got an acceptance email from queens college today! YES!

by the way, the application status remains the same as before.
You will be notified by the college you applied directly by an email.
So don’t waste time on logging in to Cuny Portal…

Good luck to you!

p.s it was little bit weird since the letter said that I was accepted for 2015 'Fal’l semester… I guess it was just a typo lolz

That’s awesome! Congrats man!! I received an email an acceptance email from Hunter yesterday as well! Soooo stoked; they were my first choice!

Congrats guys!

I haven’t gotten any replies yet. I applied to 4 colleges and none of them emailed me yet. Did I get rejected? Or do I have to wait a little longer?

Ummm well I have a friend in your same situation, and his grades/GPA are absolutely flawless, so I definetly wouldnt say that you’re rejected! You may just have to wait alittle longer. When he emailed them, they replied, “Your application is currently under review for the Spring 2015 semester. Keep an eye on your registered email and mailing address for admission decision notifications from CUNY in the next few weeks.” And that was on Oct. 21st

Hope this helps!

Has your friend received any decisions from Baruch?

Baruch is still sending out acceptance letters, so there is a chance that your application is still under review. They get tons of applications every semester. Good luck.

Nope, he still hasn’t heard from any school yet

He didn’t apply to Baruch. He just got an acceptance email from Brooklyn yesterday so I’m not sure if knowing that would help you at all but…yeah, lol

I haven’t received any letter from hunter or Baruch … I only got from Brooklyn college yesterday. Should I be worrying?

Hey bros Im an international student, I just got my letter from hunter today and theyve rejected me… I got a letter from queens but I didnt consider it as an acceptance letter because it was just an iinvitation for their open house. I applied for BMCC, Baruch, Hunter, Queens, Brooklyn and La Guardia

BMCC, LAGCC and Brooklyn are much easier to get into than Baruch or Hunter. Remember you can always transfer after a year at any community college. Just make sure you do well and try to maintain a 3.5 GPA or higher and you should be set for Hunter.

Hey guys, for those of you who got accepted, what was your gpa and sat score? I applied to cunys as well, just wanna know

@NYCguy2020 did you apply to any cuny?
