CUNY Spring application question?

So I almost just finished applying for the spring semester as a freshman and I have a few questions:

  1. how can you submit essays and recommendations? There was no where to add that anywhere on the application.

  2. does the spring semester tend to be any easier or harder to get in to than the fall semester?
