So today I called up the 800-CUNY-YES number and heard only 5 out of the 6 schools I applied to. Baruch is my number 1, because of their reputation for their business program. I am just worried I didn't get into Baruch (I really hope I did), I'm just wondering when you guys heard back. I applied and handed everything in by December and still have not heard anything yet. I'm just freaking out for no reason, but please someone calm me down. Is it normal for the 800 number to skip the number 1 choice you had, or maybe they didn't finish my application? HELP! Also, regards with on-campus housing, does anyone know how hard it is to get into? I don't want to take the LIRR everyday to school. Thank you so much, guys! I am just worried for no reason I bet - I called up the admissions office and was rudely told they couldn't help me.

Oh my gosh, this is literally my SAME situation! Brooklyn College is my #1 choice and I’ve heard from every college on my list EXCEPT Brooklyn! I also handed in everything by December, so I’m in the same spot you are in now! You should email Baruch and ask if they have received everything because when I called Brooklyn, they told me that they didn’t receive anything of me yet. It could be that the CUNY center have not finished processing our information and that is why our info has not been sent. So contact Baruch again by email or something and see what’s up with them.
