I want to start off and say that I'm not obsessed with getting into an Ivy League. My guidance counselor recommended it so I'm just curious about my chances?

-Work experience: none really but once my dad got sick so I went and took over for a week

-family income (does it even matter?) +100,000

-I wasn't born in America and I came to America at like 7 lol... I was thinking about writing about that for my college essay. My college counselor said if I want columbia then I should definitely apply and highlight my ethnicity because Im from North Africa and apparently that's very "unique"
I really don't think I stand out though... Ideas?
