Curious HS Junior

Hey everyone, this will be my first post here but I have been obsessively reading this forum for quite a while lol. I have some questions about the admissions process.

My first question is, should I have my teachers send in my recs AFTER I send in my application to each college, or does it matter? Just making sure, I can send the application in separately from the letters of recommendations correct? Also, this question may sound silly, but do I send in my high school transcript with my application or can that go separate as well?

Another question; I am applying to 9 or 10 schools, when getting recs from my teachers, should I print out 10 separate copies of the form they have to fill out and then ask them to fill out each form? I am in a slightly rural area in N. Texas and most people only apply to 3 or 4 schools... Is it possible to give them one copy of the common application recommendation form and then make 9 photocopies of the form they fill out, or does each form have to be hand written?

Thanks very much. I'm sorry if these questions sound a little dumb, but I am just a little paranoid about the admissions process and I want to make sure I do everything absolutely right.

I think they can make photocopies, and teachers can send recs anytime they want, regardless of the status of your application.

Recommendations usually are sent out after you've submitted your application, as are transcripts. If all the schools use the Common App, then just give one form to the teacher and have them make photocopies. Don't forget about Midyear reports!
