Curious if I will get into Virginia Tech

My Stats are a follows:

SAT Cric. Reading: 670

AP Calc. AB (5)
AP Gov. (current)
AP Physics C (current)
AP Clac. BC (current)
AP Chemistry (current)

There are others, most are not as significant

My low GPA is largely the result of poor grades freshman and sophmore year. However, I have come a long way since then receiving 5 A's and 2 B's junior year and all A's currently senior year. If you guys would help me out here, I have been doing research as to what Tech looks for in a student but I would really appreciate some feedback from the multitude of minds that inhabit CC. Thanks and feel free to ask any questions you want!

I am applying to the School for Engineering

Any help would be really appreciated! :)

Buuuuuuuuump

Are you in-state or out-of-state? male or female? These factors can make a lot of difference. Your semester grades will be very important. I don’t know what your chances are. Your SATs scores say ‘yes’; GPA says ‘no’. You could end up waitlisted in which case 3rd qtr grades will also be important. Section C of the common dataset should give you a better idea.

I am male and am in state, south virginia. I have been getting a lot of comments like that, with regards to my gpa…would my chances be greater when I’m considered for university studies? If so how much? Thanks :)
