<p>princeton actually has grade deflation right now, to make up for all the inflation over the past years</p>
<p>From what I've heard, most ivy league schools with the exception of cornell has some amount of grade inflation. Though I'm not absolutely sure about this.</p>
<p>I'd look at how courses are graded for more useful info. For example:</p>
<p>[ul][<em>]Duke grades on a +/- scale and includes D's and F's on transcripts. Brown grades on an A/B/C scale, and anything below a C is NC (no credit).
[</em>]JHU and MIT cover first semester grades. Most colleges don't.
[<em>]Brown allows students to take an unlimited amount of pass/fail courses. Duke allows you to take one pass/fail elective per semester once you have declared a major.
[</em>]Some colleges give out written evaluations instead of grades.[/ul]</p>
