Curious ....

Congrats to everyone who gets above a 700 on the SAT

Im curious .. how do you guys do so well
is it self studying or taking extremely hard classes

any suggestions ??
thanks

It could be both self studying and taking extremely hard classes. Or it could be just one. I know in my case, if I do well on my subject tests it is all because of my self studying. To do well on most subject tests all you need is a good thorough prep book (Barrons overpreps, PR *concise and to the point, Kaplan in the middle) and sometimes a textbook if your classes weren't that strong.

thanks so is barrons basically the best and princton review ??
i didnt like barrons for world history..seemed like to little information

Do barron's if you have the time, you won't be sorry, just bored to tears because it is so boring. It covers basically everything in a subject (even things that will definitely not be on there) and the practice tests are harder than the real one I've heard. I used to have barrons for world history and I don't think it was short at all...in fact it was boring and long. I just chucked it because I'm applying ED to Williams and world history is only offered in dec and june (read: much too late).
