There is a section in the commonapp for the permanent address and current/mailing address.
But, since I live abroad, and my dad at the states, I wanted the acceptance letters to be mailed to him. However, I haven't lived in the address he resides in. Would I be breaking any laws if I make the current/mailing address my dad's address, and make up the amount of time that I lived there??

You should not lie about your address (or anything else). For most colleges, you can access decisions by logging on to their website or by checking your email, so a mailing address is really irrelevant.

Thanks a lot! I had no intention of lying but since the decisions are sent by e-mail, I should have no problem.
How do i know for sure if some colleges do or do not provide decisions online?
