Any current berkeley students wish they had gone to UCLA instead of Cal?

Two words
Hell No.

And stop asking stupid questions. All UCLA students can do is bash Berkeley while Berkeley has HYPMS to take care of.

Yeah, too many questions like this. I'm sure there are plenty of people that regret their college decision at all colleges. More often than not, it's probably their fault they're not happy.

And all bubbles for sale can do is bash UCLA students. (see, I can make idiotic statements just like you)

Lets not get into this again. Please.

XD @ unlimitedx's post.

Fine by me, just stop making ignorant blanket statements like that.

Perhaps, if only to see what it is like. But only if I can keep the experience I gained at Berkeley. Otherwise, probably not. as much displeasure I have with Berkeley sometimes -- not change anything I would.

yeah, two words buddy, hell no

and besides, if you keep thinking what if, you're not gonna have any fun at all

What the heck's a HYPMS? I'm not familiar with all these acronyms/CA jargon.

Harvard, Yale, Princeton, MIT, Stanford. You may or may not have heard of them.

Thanks for the hot tip, Kryp! Actually yes, I've heard of them...

You guys, Berkeley is not even close to HYPMS. Don't even try to compare yourselves to them. UCLA and Cal are pretty much equals, and thats that. It is all about personal preference and the experience of going to either one is priceless.

ravindra what makes berkeley so far away from the quality of HYPMS

Harvard;
Princeton;
Yale;
Stanford;
MIT;

Berkeley;

UCLA, lounging somewhere down here.

UCI: "Hi UCLA, what's up."

Community College: "Hey guys, can I play too?"

Ravinda, you're right that Cal isn't close to HYPM, but just grab any atlas and you'll see that were a mere 45 minute drive from Palo Alto. If that's not close than I dont know what is.

This board is obviously biased. If one were to look at this objectively, it would be apparent that HYPM and yes even Stanford (I'm not talking about travel time GentlemanandScholar lol) are in a league of their own. Thats all I was saying. Berkeley is an amazing school, but it is definetely not better or even comparable to those aforementioned schools. Oh and as far as Berkeley and LA, there at the same level.
Look at these links if you don't believe me.

Directly from the UC website. Can't argue with that.

So admit rate makes the school? Interesting. And of course we're biased, WE GO TO CAL!!! I can see you're a newbie, but what did you expect on the Berkeley boards, a bunch of stanfurd fans? So, anyway, it has been noted what your oppinion on the subject is, so feel free to go away.

Admit rate makes the school? So Deep Springs must be one of if not the best school in the world, and perhaps that free engineering school in New York . . . is it called Olin?
