Just realized that everything going on now will affect us in the future. ie Illegal immigration, Iraq, China, and etc.

You just realized that now o_0? Why do you think people are caring about these issues?

'realized'--good that u've realized but how? I personally believe NOTHING else will match up w/ the devastation GLOBAL WARMING is going to perform ALL OVER THE WORLD. let's research and call upon the scientists to find ways how human beings can live w/ fishes in the water!!!

yeah, these issues are always going to have some effect on us.

global warming prob. inevitable...

im just as worried about $trillion debt

..brilliant observation?

the world is destined to be destroyed regardless of current events or shifts in global climate.

I get about half of my current events here on CC.

lol. I prefer a more reliable source. I get it from BBC.

lol, I do read papers and stuff.
I just end up with more information here...

because people here tend to gossip about stuff and embelish everything out of proportion!

If you want accurate current events just sign up for a newspaper online and make it your homepage. I have the NY Times as my homepage so I can always tell what's going on. Then after I'm done there Automator brings me to the Washington Post so I can see their (very similar) spin on the news. It's more reliable than anything on CC.

that's a good idea. But some people are really picky about where they get their news - like me.lol

lol (10 char)

We'll I am doing sometihng about it. I marched in Hollywood to free the border agents who got arrested for doing their job and also to protest illegal immigration.

COOL!!!! I always wanted to be part of a march like that. Nothing ever happens in central NJ though. What are we going to have, a walk around the mall?

Anyone go to the demonstration (the one two weeks ago in DC) against Bush's new troop increase policy?

Anna Nicole Smith dying--definitely affecting our future in big ways.

oh yeah...that is a huge event. I don't know how my daily life can go on without her.

lol. I can't believe every news channel devoted at least half their broadcasts to her. I think it is a true yet sad representation of American culture.

I feel sorry for Anglina Jolie's mom. She died just days before because of cancer and she's being robbed of the glorry of praise after death because someone else died right after her. It's sad really.

Anyway, I don't mind her dieing. What would keep me up all night would be Paris Hilton and Nichole Richie not talking to each other. Their little rivalry that happened a month ago or something really made me paranoid. But thankfully, peace and stability have been restored to the universe. :D

i get my current events basically from MSNBC and sometimes from BBC. MSNBC is cool since evrthing is arranged in an orderly way. I always try to find out articles on Global warming and there r TONS of them in BBC so my teacher might start me calling 'global boy' (ha ha ha :) (I don't deny that I am NOT)
