I know that Stony Brook looks at my High School grades and SAT score since I do not have 24 college credits but do they also look at my current college's grades? The current college I'm in has an environment not suited for me and because of that, along with some other reasons, I'm doing horribly in most of my classes. Will this greatly impact my chances of getting into the 2014 Spring term?

Also, I was accepted into Stony Brook in High School but chose not to go, will this also impact my chances of getting the 2014 Spring term?

I’m currently going to Fordham University. And I really don’t know about waiting for Fall. At that point, I’ll have 24 credits and they’ll be looking entirely at my college grades, which are a complete mess at the moment.

Hi-five, i’m applying as a freshmen transfer student also. Stony will request a final transcript if they feel the need that you are on the boarder of being accepted or being denied. If they do request a final transcript from your current college and see that you have done poorly, they will reject you.
My H.S GPA is a 4.0 (94 out of 100) and my sat superscore is 2160. Wbu?

I am a freshmen in college and want to transfer to Stony Brook fall 2014. I will have 16 credits by the end of December and the deadline is in March. I will have less than 24 credits so I need to sent my high school transcript and SAT scores. My SAT scored were really bad 1380 but, my GPA for H.S was like a 3.7. What I want to know is will they look at my college grades more or my SAT and will I have chance of getting in. Right now my college grades are really high I have A’s in almost all my classes except English with a “B”.

I just got accepted a couple of days ago. Really debating on whether or not I should go. Had a 90 GPA in high school and a 2050 SAT. If anyone else got accepted and is potentially looking a for a chill roommate to blast music and go to the gym with, send me a message
