current junior, chance for SFS?

<p>I'm a current junior who's applying to SFS this fall.
These days, I'm suffering from extreme stress about college..</p>

<p>Georgetown SFS is my first choice.. </p>

<p>Ethnicity: Asian (with U.S. citizenship)
Sex: Female</p>

<p>Academics:
GPA: 4.0 unweighted / 4.7 unweighted
Rank: 18/555 top 3%
School: Public high school in NC/ quite competitive
SAT: 720 CR / 760 M / 730W </p>

<p>Junior year: AP calculus AB/BC, AP Environmental, AP chemistry (this year)

Senior year: AP World History, AP Micro/Macroeconomics, AP Statistics, AP Human
Geography, AP Psychology in my senior year.</p>

<p>SAT II: I am taking SAT II Chemistry, US History in May, Math Lv. II in October</p>

<p>I think your grades are excellent, and you have some ECs that correspond to SFS. Your lack of leadership may hurt you a bit, but if you can write excellent essays, I’m sure you’ll get in.</p>

<p>I would never say that I’m sure you’ll get in, but I do think you’re a strong candidate.
The problem is that there are gazillions of strong candidates applying, and as the adcom tries to build the class it wants, you don’t know what the other applicants will look like. A lot of strong candidates simply must be rejected.
There’s just no crystal ball, but if you’re asking whether you’re a highly competitive candidate, you sure are.</p>
