Current junior on the right track?

Hey everyone, I just wanted to see opinions of those on this board as to whether or not I'm on the right track to getting into the schools I am looking at.

As of now my dream school is University of Michigan. I'm also looking at Vanderbilt, UF, Tufts and Amherst as well as Johns Hopkins.

On to the stats.

GPA:
UW-3.72
W- 4.82

I've taken the Sat once, and my scores were less than desirable,
Breakdown-
Cr-610
M-660
W-580
I know that these scores aren't great, and I need to get them up. I take the ACT in February and the sat again in June.

I'm ranked 10th out of 563 at a large public school in south Florida.

AP Courseload:
Freshman year- Human Geo (4)
Soph- World Hist (2) and bio (3)
Junior-English comp, Calc AB, Stat, Chem
Senior plans- English Lit, Calc BC, Enviro, Macro/Micro, maybe Comp Gov
The rest of my courses are all honors except for one (Advanced computer graphics) which allowed me to become an Adobe Certified Associate.

Ec's
My primary Ec is variety baseball. I am 100% commited to it and it takes up most of my time. Im going to write about this in my essays. The only other club that I'm currently in is NHS. Starting in January I will be working with my local little league for device hours. I also worked at my vet's office for a summer.

I appreciate any input and advice that any of you give. Thank you

Looking solid.
You have a decent chance at all those schools.
Just bring up your SAT’s.

Thanks for the input. Oh, I’m also a member of SGA. Starting this year.

If you get your SAT scores up, you have a decent shot.

How good are you at baseball? If you express interest in playing in college, you could become more attractive to non-DI schools.

Not going to be my thing. I’d rather go to a top tier school and play baseball at the intramural level. Plus I just underwent knee surgery about 10 months ago and was forced to take a year off.

Thanks for the input.

Im also attending the PAVE pre college program at Vanderbilt so I’m hoping that will help as well.

Shameless bump?

Bring up my post

Last bump 10 char

You have a good shot! Just get your SATs up :)

Thank you! See you at PAVE lol.

Just wanted to get a few more opinions now that I received my ACT scores.

C-32
E-34
M-27 (Poor timing on my part.)
S-35
R-30
and an essay score of 10.

Can anybody else help me out? Will the 27 on the math section hamper me? or are schools more concerned about composite?
