Hello all,
I am a current master of Urban planning student at the university at buffalo and am interested in also attaining an MBA. My reasoning is that I would like to work in economic development and I think it would be beneficial for me to understand the business environment. My current school only offers an MBA/M.Arch dual degree but not an MBA/MUP program. I just had a couple questions for people here.
First, are you able to apply for an MBA program if you don’t have a bachelors in business?
Second, would it make sense to have an MUP and MBA considering what I want to do?
Third, have you ever heard of anyone proposing a particular program to a school or advisor? What I mean by that is that an MUP/MBA program is not offered through the university at buffalo BUT it is offered through dozens of other schools around the country. Anyone know how possible it is to create your own dual program if it’s not offered through your school? I know that this is a long shot and I’m 99.9% sure that this doesn’t exist but I was just curious if creating your own dual degree program was possible in graduate school. Again, this may be a stupid question so I apologize if it is.
