Current NYU student Audition Experiences

Hi! Today I had my audition. I had a tall, slender, kind woman as my auditor. After completing my 2 monologues, which I thought went well, she gave me difficult direction on the first one. She then asked 3 very easy questions about my outside activities, my favorite book, and where I would travel. From past experience, is this a bad sign? There was nothing mentioned about my acting methods nor any studios. Feeling a little discouraged. Thanks for any info!!

D’s artistic review is this weekend…she went back and forth about whether she wanted to limit herself to MT only, or be open to any studio. In the end, she decided to keep her options open, which I think was an interesting decision b/c when she started this journey she was 100% MT or nothing. The price tag of NYU is something we will have to put some deep thought & consideration into, but it is her dream school, so we couldn’t see saying no to at least trying. Any thoughts on what to expect would be appreciated!
