Hello… Do you know if the BFS program is worth it for a pre-med student? I’m not particularly sure what its about, but I got accepted into it.

hey kevin,
tnx for answering our questions, well i am a senior in high school and i wanna apply to penn undergraduate and later on i wanna major in medicine …do u know which undergrad school of penn should i apply to that i can major in medicine?
tnxx

no medical major at the undergraduate level, but you could successfully apply to medical school from any of the four undergraduate schools - for example, by majoring in biology, or biomedical engineering, or nursing, or healthcare management

Hi Kevin,

I want to major in architecture and I’m applying as senior high school student. since I’m an international student so I really lack the resources to get to know UPenn throughly, but I indeed love the school. Do you know some interesting or special programs and research opportunities that are related with architecture in UPenn? I try to search on the UPenn website but didn’t get an answer.

Thank you very much for helping!^^

Have you looked at this?

Wow this thread has been up for a long time

Maybe dumb question: do Penn Administrators get mad if you stray significantly from the major you declared in your application?

No. The major on the application is in no way a commitment (in fact, nobody cares about it–Penn knows you’ll most likely end up changing it in the end anyway).

If you think you can pull a fast one so to speak like apply to the nursing school and switch to wharton BE HONEST with yourself and everywhere you apply… you will grow to be a better person. Always tell the truth and then you have nothing to keep track of.

Thanks for the advice ^^

I just wasn’t sure if I wanted to major in English or Art…I prefer Art but my transcript shows I’m better at English, so I figured saying English would make me look more focused…

Sounds like a major of undecided might to best!
