Yes, it won't be easy.
However, you seem to be in a big hurry to look at the end of things and you are forgetting the beginning. You are wondering about grad school and coop schedules - you should first concentrate on just doing well your first year. If you do well in the basics, then those 300 classes will be easier and then so will the 400. Sure if you sat in on one tomorrow you would not know what they were talking about - but you will.
Same goes for the co-op and grad school. Number one, you do not have to do their co-op program. You could get an internship on your own each summer and follow the 8 semester aerospace schedule. And you do not even know if you need to do grad school to get a job, or if it is in your best interest to go elsewhere. And you cannot find that out on the boards here, you will learn that while you are at Penn State networking with other students and teachers.
I am not saying not to plan ahead, but don't worry too much about things that are not set in stone.

Is the drinking/party scene as bad as they say? I don't like alcohol (family loves it, so I've tried several kinds) and my idea of a good social time is just going out with some friends whether if it's to hang out or just grab a meal or movie.

Go back a page. There a whole thread on this for those that don't drink. Try this link: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=289619
