Hey, to all those kids who are in or were in the BBA program:

Did you like it? What do you think about it being overrated? Do you think it prepared you well for the business world, and I don't mean just getting you an interview...

I dunno, I'm trying to make a decision whether I should attend or not

I highly doubt you'll find any Ross graduates here. We're just a bunch of students. The closest is Alexandre, an LSA econ alum who has experience in IB, among other things. You should check out Vault's Michigan Buzz Book (or whatever it's called) and the Businessweek student comments for Ross.

I guess I overlooked your first two questions. I personally like being in Ross and learning in classes that are at most 70 kids, some as little as 25, others around 40. You really have to like the study of business and working in teams. There are teamwork activities in pretty much every class. Not every professor is good, but most are satisfactory. There really is nothing too special about Ross in terms of academics compared to the LSA, however. The only differences I see are the career center and the new building and probably class size. But we're not necessarily learning anything special. And the Kresge Library lets us print 2,000 pages beyond our regular 400.

Anyone can argue that it's overrated, but recruiters certainly don't think so.

The biggest benefits of Ross is definitely their career center. Generally, I like the small(er) classes and the Ross profs have so far been better than profs I've had in LSA. The curves are pretty competitive as ross students are very intense about their grades. Also, I can't wait for our new building =)
