Hello! So I've submitted my Brown ED application, and I'm also applying to UT Austin, St. Edward's, Tufts, Sarah Lawrence, and Vanderbilt.

GPA: 3.5 UW (4.2 W)
ACT: 33 Composite (32-S, 30-M, 35-E, 34-R)
Current courses: IB HL History year II, IB HL English year II, AP Calc AB, IB SL Environmental Systems, DC Business, I'm also taking 4 semesters of French at the community college (not for HS credit), because I had schedule conflicts with French III and IV
Previous test scores: APUSH- 5, IB Math SL- 6, AP Econ- 4, AP Gov- 5
I am an intern for a Congressman, and I previously interned for a State Rep. I am an officer for 2 national political organizations, previously the president for a statewide political organization, I am on the cabinet for my state's JSA, and I'm an officer for the US chapter of a global UN organization.
I've also worked at a doctor's office since sophomore year, and I have worked (field director and deputy campaign manager) on two campaigns.
At school, I'm an officer for film club, a member of student council, NHS member, and the VP of Youth and Government.
I was invited to speak at a statewide political convention last year.
I have been featured in 4 film festivals, and I had a film festival internship my sophomore year.
I have multiple academic and extra-curricular awards (at the state and regional levels).
I'm submitting a letter of rec from the State Rep I interned for, as well as the teacher recs.
I applied ED because Brown denies so few ED applicants (~10%), and it's also my dream school. I know my GPA is a little lower than Ivy-norms, but I'm hoping that my test scores and extra curricular activities will balance that. I've also made sure to take the hardest courses offered, so hopefully that counts, haha. Please chance me for Brown and/or any of the other schools. Thanks! :)
