@njdesimom I was wondering the same thing! Did you ever find out? VSB is very competitive and wondering if not accepted, are you considered for another college like LiberalArts&Sciences or are you out of luck? If that is the case, and you are denied admission in general, unless truly passionate about business you are better off applying undecided. I don’t think that is made clear and each college seems to handle the “major” differently.
Hi Novanation, So nice for you to respond to parents and students regarding your school. My son applied EA to the engineering school and was deferred. I think his stats where pretty good and wondered if he has a chance of getting in RD. I know that Villanova defers everyone who applies EA but I think this is unfair. If an applicant does not have a chance I think they should be denied. Then they can move on to another school that will be a better fit for them. It really bummed me out to see my son’s same deferral response that was sent out 5 years ago to deferred students in 2010.They really should make an effort to change it a bit. I found that very impersonal.
I’ve heard great things about nova’s business program and that they have a really high job placement rate, but I feel like some majors get placed more than others, do you think that a physics major go very far there?
Any thoughts about the honors college and first year dorm situation? Is it overcrowded?
