Hey there! So I’m from a small town in New England, and I’m nervous about going from cold, Cape Cod to hot, humid Coral Gables. I was just wondering how students from the north have felt about the heat, and if it’s a hard adjustment to make? Thanks so much!
It’s only hot in august and kind of Septemeber. It really doesn’t heat up until late April May (I’m from CT) . It’s actually really nice from mid september to may. There isn’t much of an adjustment. For your first week Orientation they have water coolers and free water bottles literally at every corner.
The heat should have no bearing on you coming here
