To all current students: what have you heard about Math 22, linear algebra? I've taken the equivalent of Math 13 at a different college, would it be tough to jump right in? Is the class pretty tough, etc. Just interested in any past experiences/info you've heard from friends. Thanks.

You should have no problem. I found math 22 to be easy and pretty useful in terms of understanding basic concepts. We used the text book by an MIT guy, Strang, and it was very well written.

Are most of the students who take the course math majors? Any other class you would recommend even more, i.e. 16, 18. and/or 20? Thanks again.

Math majors take math 24. I personally enjoyed 23... Haven't taken 16, 18, or 20. The hardest math I took was Engs 92 but I gotta say math courses and engineering courses are different even if they are cross listed.

Two of my floormates last year took Math 22. One was a Theater/Math double major, the other was a Comp Sci major (I think).
