I wanted to know where freshmen can park. I looked up the parking map and I saw the red areas. On the map it shows a beige area and a beige with stripes area. That is classified as any decal parking. Problem is that I on the map it looks like orange.

For example the area near the police department and across the street on museum road. The parking just ne of ben hill griffin stadium, parking on both sides of Murphree.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If all of this is too confusing. Can you please tell me where freshmen can park?

The parking at the police station and in front of the reitz are both Orange lots, I know this for a fact. A couple of the ones you described sound like red1 lots, is it red stripes? Red one is for non-freshmen on campus students. I’m too lazy to pull the map up again, but I looked earlier.

Like I said before, for freshmen the parking is at hume garage, across the street from Hume, by lakeside, far out by the gym (This is the only all-decal parking that there is, so the southwest of campus is the only beige), and a portion of the garage across 13, I think it’s Norman garage.

Thanks for the info. So if I get a room in Jennings I can park either at Hume and walk over or park at the gym/Lakeside and take the bus.

When my dad went to UF 33 years ago. He told me he could park across Museum road from Hume. He could see his truck from his dorm room. Times have changed.
