<p>That's not true. You can join some frats without drinking. Yes alcohol is a suggested part of some of our process. However there is/has been members who have objected, and they were not forced to drink in any way.</p>
<p>I mean i guess if a fraternity ever got a pledge that refused to drink then they wouldnt like physically force that kid to drink. But I think the groups of "non-drinkers" and "people who join houses" pretty much mutually exclude themselves. Same goes for the members of certain "islamic religions" that sparticus mentioned. If someone is pious enough to think that drinking violates their religion, then that is probably only one of a handful of reasons why such a person would never join a fraternity. The situation just never arises.</p>
