<p>hey what do typical cmc kids have, are test scores that high or do they like to see strong nonschoold related things just as much. Right now it seems to me like they judge your human quality more, which would be nice, but I know test scores are still up there.</p>

<p>Everyone I know has extracurriculars from high school. We all did something passionately in high school. From the people I have talked to, our SAT scores range from 1210-1560 with most people falling right around 1400. We all got mostly As in high school. We really do all fit a CMC personality.</p>
<p>i agree with the above statement, but I feel that having strong ECs will offset a lower gpa or sat score. they love to see ppl passionately commited to an EC!</p>
<p>strong ECs definitely take care of a lower GPA. it's like they explain what else you were doing while you weren't getting STRAIGHT As. I was A-/B+ throughout high school. i definitely agree with blondexcepption and redsox, we all had something in highschool that we threw ourselves at. there are some superhuman people here who had like perfect ACT scores and were the best swimmer on the swim team and the best debater in the state, but it is def not the entire class. that's like the top 5% of each grade.</p>
