no offense cayugared, but arguing about sametwochords's writing is really not that serious or necessary. I understood what he was trying to get out. It is crazy how people bash other ppl especially on their writing in a forum like college confidential, unless it were completely unbearable, then I'd understand.

thanks to all those who wrote how Cornell is like because I was wanting to know too. :-)

I had assumed you were being sarcastic.

No, it's not serious. You are right. I should have kept my mouth shut. But I was just, like, irritated because I was like reading a great post , and, like, it had a lot of great insights into the Cornell experience, and like, I found that sum of the grammar got in the way.

no, i was serious. i do own three copies. in fact, i love grammar and obsess over it. but regardless, i don't care, again, as to what i write here. my "reputation" in real life suffices, thanks. i don't need to build on based upon an anonymous alias on the internet.

and like, you should like probably like find something like more important like to do like with yourself. like.

thank you again lavendergraces haha

Presumably. Sure. I'm off to go battle with more windmills.

hahaha, my lit teacher would have gotten a kick out of this thread! =D

"and like, you should like probably like find something like more important like to do like with yourself. like."

hahhahahaha! now that would be annoying!! Actually that reminds me of when I was in Dartmouth (just to visit my sis) and was sitting behind THREE girls that said "like" so many times just like in that sentence. It was soooo annoying. I had to rush my food and hurry and get out of there because I was soo tempted to tell them to SHUT UP!!!
L0L!

Should have done it. Nobody tells other people off anymore. It's becoming a lost art.

it is true. i did it once. it's kind of a complicated and sad story. but in isolation, it was the best tell off ever. i don't curse and w/e it was just like intense yelling. not to a random person; it was a friend. but wow. was it ever satisfying.
