LB—please note that I did not post about moving in early or post anything else concerning apprehensions (in fact, this is only my sixth post altogether)—but I do read the board to glean information.

Snarf—spot on, as usual. Parents should not be ganging up on 18 year olds—this is a huge step and therefore often anxiety producing. So, I apologize to skateboarder, although my advice about not matriculating was sincere—I’ve known others who, probably wisely, decided at the last minute to take a gap year because the school they were headed to just didn’t seem right to them—no sense in wasting the money and, more importantly, a precious year. But, I’m glad that you’re back posting, and I hope that, if you do go, that you’ll be excited (and of course apprehensive—that’s only natural). My apologies again.
