Current UF Student Question: F or D in a Class and retake, does the improved Grade..?

<p>I'm a current UF Student.</p>

<p>Question: </p>

<p>I'm not failing anything (yet :P lol), but wondering about the future.</p>

<p>In a critical tracking course, if you get a F or D in a Class within critical tracking and retake, does the improved Grade replace the bad grade in your GPA?</p>

<p>Or does the F stay and hurt your GPA? </p>

<p>Im an Engineering Major and want to end up applying to graduate school.</p>

<p>UF has no grade forgiveness. It’s really bad because similar institutions basically all have it for at least a couple classes so we get ****ed because we are competing with people who can get rid of Fs</p>
