Current USC rising junior wanting to do study abroad fall semester senior year?

hi there
I wasnt really too sure if I should post this on the study abroad forum or the USC forum so i’m going to post this in both places haha so sorry to those of you (if any) see this twice. I’m currently a rising junior at USC - university of southern california - marshall school of business. I’m a transfer so my sophomore year was my first year at USC. I’ve always wanted to do study abroad and its just been difficult trying to figure it out and fitting it in with my course plan and schedule because if any of you are transfers, you’ll know how difficult it can be with the units and credits nonsense!

I know typically students study abroad junior year, predominantly spring semester of their junior year, but thats just not possible for me. The only time i can potentially do it is fall semester junior year and i was just wondering what peoples thoughts are on that? And particularly if anyone has done it/ has any advice, suggestions, any info at all. Thanks.

I studied abroad and my recommendation to you would be to not think twice about it if you have the opportunity.

It’s truly a once in a lifetime experience which you will not regret.

@akbaby21 thats so great to hear. I just did an internship (outside of USC) in france and than in itself was such an enriching experience. Where did you study abroad / through which program if you dont mind me asking?

USC uses the company “IES” for it’s study abroad programs. You can read the blogs from students studying all over the world at:
