Sorry, I first posted this in the Transfers forum, but I was guided here.

Hello. CC was helpful for me when trying to transfer to USC, but now that I know exactly what major I want, I was hoping you guys could pull through for me again.

I applied to the Interactive Entertainment degree within the School of Cinematic Arts. I took some intro film and interactive courses that are required for the major during the Spring semester and did well in them overall. I just really enjoy the subject matter and I'd like to be apart of film/video games.

Admissions was telling me that the only way they notify current USC transfer applicants is through mail. I was wondering if anyone might know another way of checking. Somehow online perhaps?

Thanks for any and all responses.

Are you currently attending another university and applying to transfer to USC SCA?

Did you submit the SCA Interactive Media supplement etc by the transfer deadline?

I’m confused because you mention taking film and IM courses in Spring–was that at another college or USC?

Haha, everyone seems to be confused by this. I attend USC right now. I’m undeclared. I took some film and interactive classes during this past Spring at USC.

I submitted everything regarding the Interactive app, yes.

Okay, now it’s much clearer. Unfortunately, I don’t know how internal major transfers into SCA IM may work. We have one regular CCer – uyulove-- who is a current USC student who internally transferred to SCA Animation, I believe. Maybe she’ll come along and answer your questions.

Oh, that’s really cool. Interactive Entertainment and Animation have some similar aspects. A couple of my Interactive Entertainment friends are Animation & Digital Arts minors. I should get in contact with uyulove (unless she’s inactive).
