<p>Are there certain freshman intro classes that should be avoided at all costs if you have the AP credit? For example, everyone I know in college has told me to take the AP English exams because freshman English class in college is pure hell. I've also been advised to test out of certain "weed-out" classes such as Biology.</p>
<p>Oh ****, biology is a weed out class??? I guess i better use my ap credit, lolz. Can anyone vouch for that?</p>
<p>And have ya’ll heard anything about calculus being a weed out class? I can’t decide whether I want to retake it or just use my CC credit to skip.</p>
<p>Calc and chem will be weeders for sure. If you really know your stuff then claim your credit, but beware because all calcs afterwards are highly cumulative. Its sad to see so many kids in my calc 3 class struggle and get barely c’s because their basics are poor. Use your best judgement</p>
<p>Calculus…DEFINITE WEEDOUT…everyone my D went to HS with that is taking it this year have had problems…and she went to a top feeder HS…</p>
