I've always dreamed of a college with old, artistic buildings, green grasses with people sitting and talking/studying...that kind of atmosphere..But wharton (my no.1 choice)'s Huntsman building is a little disappointing to me. I prefer the castlelike feeling XD. Current students, how are you guys finding the Wharton atmosphere?? Give me a feel of what it's like to study in Huntsman =]. Thanks!

if you want the castle-like setting, go study in the quad

huntsman is often packed with studiousness and is a nice place… not sure what else can be said (the novelty wears off quickly, as it would anywhere else)

I personally don’t care much for the building either but you have to appreciate that it gets the job done

I mean it’s a state of the art building… you can go to the Fisher Fine Arts library for the old artistic building to study in… also it’s worth noting that Huntsman is one building out of probably sixty on campus. College Green is unbelievably gorgeous.

That sounds great! Just wondering, how many of your classes are not at the Huntsman building?

bumpp…anyone?

well about 40% of your classes are liberal art classes so 2/5 classes per semester are not in the huntsman building (on average). Ofc it depends on what you do but I would say that 2/5 is a good rule of thumb.

Huntsman has a nice business feel (hardwood everywhere) but you learn to hate it quickly… all your cramming is done here.
