I'm a little confused by the "Current Year Courses" in the Academic section of the common app. There's a big bold "Note: This information will not print in your application", but I'm not sure what this means. Does this mean that people in admissions offices will not see this information? (since I have to have my school send them my transcript anyway). I don't get it!

Also, how did you guys indicate "credit value" for your courses"?

Yup. It’s for data collection purposes for the Common App only.

The official course information and credit information will be sent on your transcript and secondary school report. You don’t actually need to indicate credit values in the academics section if you don’t want/don’t know.
