Current Year Grades on Part 2? Won't come in time

Hi!

I'm filling out my classes/grades on Part 2 of the application.

For this years classes, my school sends the first semester grades in the midterm report. However, this comes out in January, after applications are due.

I have my first quarter grades, but would really prefer that MIT see my 1st semester grades, particularly since I have a B+ in AP Calc that doesn't help my SAT Math (700) and SAT Math 2 (740) scores. The first semester grades are the ones given out by the school and are composed of first quarter grades, second quarter grades, and midterm grades.

Which grades should I write for this year? Would it be okay to give my current, up to date grades in these classes, although they are not yet finalized? Could I just leave it blank, since I'll have the scores for the midyear report anyways?

Thanks!

Just leave it blank. Don’t worry! Your GC will report your semesters’ grades later.

Thanks! I’ll do that then
