Currently a High School Junior, wanna chance me?:)

Before I say anything I just want to make sure that I am not boastful or conceited, I am just trying to tell you what kind of a person I am so I can be chanced. i really want to be accepted in an excellent school, possibly ivy league or top private. im a junior in high school, 4.0 unweighted, not sure of my weighted gpa. currently taking ap chem, ap histroy, ap english, ap trig, dual credit spanish III, making all As. class president, theatre 4 years, great personality (cute and likable), recommended and selected by numerous teachers to be one of ten, out of the entire junior and senior class, first honors student. It is a program developed by a big regional newspaper to celebrate (I guess) excellent students. Volunteer at retirement home. Member of NHS, one of 20 something selected to be a student leader for a school program that welcome and help freshmen throughout the year. Chinese immigrant for 4 years (fluent in English and Chinese, currently taken Spanish III) only taken psat once, 50s in english, 60s in math. i understand that i need superior scores to be considered. i am a slow reader and did not take psat seriously as a sophomore. in the past year i have noticed improvements in my reading and writing speed and have been doing practice questions. i am very creative and extroverted, really good at learning new things and have learned many new abilities including acting, singing, dancing, visual arts, etc. i am a sensitive and empathetic person. i understand that in order to be accepted you need to excel at academics and be a unique, diverse person. I really do believe myself to be an unique, aspiring, ambitious girl. I like to think that I have a good personality, I get along really great with most of the faculty and student body. Possible majors for me are criminal psychology and sociology, business, finance, marketing and advertising. Sorry for some of the poor grammar and capitalization and somewhat frantic effort to dump everything I do onto the webpage, I feel really passionate about my education and future because I do not come from a wealth family. I know if the admission people can meet me then I have a much greater chance because I am not really good at expressing myself through words, what are my chances of getting in and what do I need to work on? Feel free to ask questions : ) thanks in advance!

You would probably get more responses if you wrote in paragraphs rather than a large block and listed ECs line-by-line with specific awards, accomplishments or leadership roles.

The successful recent immigrant story is always compelling to top schools. However, you will need to have certain minimum stats to become a serious candidate: I’d say at least SAT 2100 and top 10% class rank as an Asian (the most competitive subgroup). After that, your ECs and community service work, as well as your personal story, will help to set you apart.

hi loremipsum, thanks for replying
i’m really stressed out about college and everything and i was worried that 2100 wouldn’t be enough since, like you said, the asian subgroup is so competitive, but at least i am artsy and creative so that sets me apart right?
