Currently a junior, chance me for UCs please!

<p>I'm looking to get into UCI, UCSD, or UCSB, but mainly UCI just for family reasons (Needs to take care of someone).
Dream is UCLA but will probably transfer due to </p>

<p>Grade: 11
Race: Asian (Chinese/Vietnamese)
Income: Way below poverty line, will for sure get financial aid (currently aided with food stamps and all that)
GPA: 3.5 Weighted: 3.9 (story: A dramatic drop from 3.83 to 3.1 end of sophomore year due to a death of a family member that I could not financially afford to go to the funeral of. Basically depressed for like 2 months until I got government aid for a psychologist)
Rank: n/a until senior year
ACT: didn't take it yet but got a 33 first time I did a practice one
SAT: didn't take one yet but 2000 when I did a practice one
Subject test scores: didn't take them yet but planned on taking Math II + US history, and more if available</p>

<p>Intended major: PreMed or Communications to go into Business Administration. </p>

<h2>TLDR: Crappy childhood, minimal income, works a job, reasonable GPA but not top notch, in tons of extracurricular activities, wants to major in PreMed or Communications at UCI</h2>

<p>Please provide honest advice!! I really really need to achieve a higher education. Please also provide advice on ECs & classes. What to take/drop?<br>
On the bright side, I have really good stories for my personal statements due to rough childhood/poor upbringing.</p>
