Currently failing AP Calc in Junior Year?

Last semester I earned all A’s and a C in Calculus AB. However I am halfway through 2nd semester, and I have all A’s and currently have a low D in Calculus AB. Although I am only halfway through 2nd semester, final exams are coming up and they account for 20% of our total grade. I am becoming very anxious, as I have never really been all that great at taking tests, and in particular calc tests. I have done decently in my math classes in years past with both B’s and A’s, however I plan on majoring in communications or something related to Human Resources. I visited my GC today to discuss options if I do fail this semester of calculus. She suggested either retaking the class next year or taking a community college course over the summer. I am not making excuses for the grades I have received so far in calc, as I take 100% responsibility for not allowing more time to study harder for the class. My question is: How would colleges react if I were to retake the 2nd semester of calculus at a community college? Would the UC’s automatically turn me down because of my F, even with retaking the 2nd semester?
