Anyone have any experience with this general education track? Curriculum I allows students to select classes from each area of study. Curr. II has a set sequence of classes. My son has been accepted, hasn't visited yet, but is very interested in Gustavus. Seems like a great school.

Any other insights on Gustavus would be appreciated.

Hey rhumbob – Glad to hear you’re still considering Gustavus. It’s still very high for S2 also. I would recommend calling the Admissions office. I would say without a doubt they have been the most helpful and friendly of any college I’ve dealt with so far.

Did you ever get a chance to look at Luther?

My daughter started in Curriculum II and switched after the first semester. I think that she found the sequence too structured and confining. She ended up majoring in English with a minor in Anthro/Sociology, and is now in grad school, getting a Masters in mental health counseling.

She thoroughly enjoyed her time at Gustavus and recommends it highly.
