Curve for JAN 08

I think its gonna be TERRA-BAD

CR is probably bad,
Math is probably better than others
Writing about the same as other dates.

Was the test very easy or something?
I just know January usually has great curves...

How is the curve determined? Percentiles, or difficulty of the questions. I thought that one passage was hard on CR, but otherwise I could have done really well, or really bad. When do scores come out by the way?

They'll be on collegeboard.com by February 14th.

Curve is determined partially by difficulty of questions and partially by their "equating" process (there are lots of articles on this), which I think is based on the results.

I hope CR was bad.. I read somewhere that CR was easy.. What do you guys think..??

what do you think the raw will be for about 550 on each section

yea i hope cr was bad, math wasnt that bad, but writing kinda sucked near the end cause I wanted to get outta there and i kinda became careless

wait....i don't understand...why do you guys want a bad curve for CR.........

^I guess they mean a good curve, since CR was bad

They might mean that they hope that CR was considered a VERY HARD SECTION(bad for us) so that the curve will be good.

Isn't there some javascript code to see your scores early?

Yeah...I'm assuming by "bad curve" you mean you want more leeway right?

Cuz I call that a good curve lol.

@RahoulVA. I think there was a code to get your scores like 6-8 hours prior to them being released. This was because collegeboard already had uploaded the scores but didn't put the button to view them. I am not sure if this still works or not.

This did not work for the last SAT (Dec), or Nov I think. It does continue to work for the ACT.

math was the hardest

Someone told me that scores come 2 weeks from today(February 9th), but then someone else told me February 20th.

math i got the most wrong. so far at least. anyone want to give an estimate?

For me, Collegeboard.com says Feb 14th.

how do you know what you got?!

and curve predictions?
