I hated math. Though as a junior I'm in AP Calc (like many others in CC), I pretty much BOMBED math. probably AT LEAST 4 wrong

Yeah...I hated the math. I mean, I've never even seen a question where the answer was "not enough information". What was that???

The math section was the hardest part for me too...

I know! but that was the answer. and it wasn't even a hard question lol

RememberMe: They are rare, but I have seen a few in various practice tests... and it was like practically the easiest question on the test lol..

It is rare for a question to appear with an answer choice being "Not enough information is provided".

It is even rarer for that answer to be the right answer for the question, which was the case with this SAT.

So I guess we're all legendary SAT takers since we got this rare edition of the SAT, haha.

^ yay.. I am legend! :D

lol I didn't say I got the question wrong...I was just a bit shocked by it at first. I wasted a little time thinking haha.

so overall what did you guys think. this is my first time taking the sat was the math and critical reading harder or easier than usual?

To be quite honest, I would say everything was about 5-10% harder than usual.

CR was easy for me. Math was tough as heck. Writing was usual.

Is -2 = 800 too much to hope for in Math??

man even though i might have bombed it i really want to see my scores right now just to know where i'm at

@flux_capacitor: I would say so, I don't think you can get 800 on Math in this SAT with 2 wrong. But who knows.

Does anyone know how generous the curve is gonna be for math? the math was by far the hardest but would it be safe to say that a test with 4 omits and 6 wrong is still above 700?

LOL!!

I looked at that question for so long; i've taken several practice tests and basically made it my rule that any answer like that was always wrong; luckily i picked the correct one in this case.

One section of math was extremely hard; I'm assuming (hoping) it was the experimental section.

CR was actually easy, since most of the topics were not completely dull as they usually are.

plisk no way, october i got 2 wrong, 2 omit and got a 710

yea but october was one of the easiest tests with one of the worst curves (not rewarding to the testtaker)

i got about 4 CR wrong and 4 on writing...is it possible to get 760 CR and 770 W w/ a 12 on the essay?

yea but its -4 raw points versus -10, no matter what the curve, the gap cant be great enough for over 700

Math was almost too easy for me (one wrong).
Critical reading was average.
I found the writing section to be quite difficult however.
