Curves at Tech?

<p>I hear lots of classes at Tech curve and well...I was wondering if most Calc 1 classes had a curve. My average is in the mid 80s right now and I was hoping to pull it up to an A...but it sounds like it might be pretty slim...(Unless I do really well on the final)</p>

<p>Do typical calc 1 classes curve?
How about CS 1371? I know the professor says she won't curve, but people claim she does?</p>

<p>Or how about classes in general? Do professors usually give students a helping hand? Maybe dropping tests here or there, etc?</p>

<p>Your best bet is to ask your teacher what percent of the class you are in. then look at course critique and see the percent grades they usually give.</p>

<p>Ya, i have a low B in physics 2212. But i asked my prof and i am in the top 15% of the class.</p>
