Curves on the SAT?

So i don't really understand all this talk about curves and which month's SAT is easiest. When is the best (aka easiest) month to take the SAT?

I wouldn’t set too much store by that kind of speculation. Even if the curves varied significantly by month, it would not be predictable. I suspect that the variation is due to the differences in the test-taking pool - different people taking the test in a given month. It would be very difficult to predict a future outcome based on this. It’s probably non-significant and you should focus on prepping and doing the best that YOU can do.

I read a report on SAT curves, and it told me that the curves are independent to the students who take it during a particular month. Therefore, it is possible that all the students in a particular month can get 2400 if they are above the specified boundaries.
In conclusion, the best month to take the SAT has no correlation with the difficulty of the SAT because your scores are going to be roughly the same (unless you’re really high up there) because the scaled scores justify the composite scores so everyone is on an equal platform. The best month to take the test would be anytime YOU are prepared to take it.
