<p>So apparently my school sends out a custom School Report (the one that the counselor has to fill out). I'm applying to some schools via Common App and I didn't know I had to use the School Reports, but my GC told me that the custom reports will work as well. Should I believe her? </p>
<p>And one of my deadlines has already passed. If I want to submit the Common App version of the school report, will it already be too late?</p>
<p>Custom school reports are fine. If your GC has already sent one you do not need to do anything more. You can contact the school to verify that nothing required is missing from your application. </p>
<p>Missing a deadline is not good. Schools give a short grace period after deadlines for the third party materials to arrive (scores, recs, transcripts). If anything is missing, you may still have time to get your materials in.</p>
