Does anybody know what the cut off GPA was for Cal States last term? (for out of service area transfers) Can't find this info anywhere...any help would be great! Thanks!

It varies from CSU to CSU. There is no state-wide cut off.

I have found those transfer stats in one form or another for SJSU, Sac State, and Fullerton. My guess is that most the CSUs have these stats somewhere on their individual websites, but you have to poke, prod and search to find them.

Also, the GPA cut offs were by major, as the colleges take in transfer students until each department is full. As SJSU, the cut off for out-of-service area transfers ranged in various majors (this is from memory) anywhere from 2.8 - 3.5.

I know I read for this year, Fullerton had stated that out-of-service area transfers with less than a 3.7 (!!!) are encouraged NOT to bother applying.
