I love the field of civil engineering, but I'm not sure if I'm capable or if i'll get accepted. I'm a jr in hs right now. I'm taking the SAT's two more times but my first time I received an 1820- CR-620, M-630, WR-570. My gpa is 3.8/3.9 I'm in precalc H right now, and most likely getting a B/B- for my final grade. In precalc I'm not exactly the smartest kid. I understand the concepts, but it just takes me longer. Will take AP Calc next year, with Physics H. I'm lead to believe that engineering programs are really intense in college, and I'm not sure if I'll be accepted into any engineering programs.
My rough college list is Syracuse U, Temple U, Drexel, and Manhattan College. What scores and GPA should I have?

And does it help my chances of getting accepted being first generation, asian, buddhist, and a female (since engineering is male dominated)?
Thanks!
