I’m confused. You say you won’t turn 16 until the start of next year and, yet, you already have 3 A-levels ? Considering your age, you should still be taking GCSE’s, shouldn’t you ? Have you taken Maths, Further Maths, and Physics to full A-level (A2), or just AS-level ?

^Full A-level standard. Since I was homeschooled, it meant I could do certain subjects early if I was good enough - I had to arrange to take them at a nearby school, and then a college. However, I actually hadn’t learnt a wide range of subjects (Chemistry, Literature, History etc.) till quite recently, so I’ve had to work on that. That’s why I’m taking the SAT IIs this autumn.

@vinceh: Unfortunately, I recently moved to Malaysia because my family wanted to start a business here (and will likely be staying here till at least the end of the year) so I can’t visit any UK universities till I apply. Concerning the tech schools, although I’m not 100% sure what I want to study, I do know that I wouldn’t want to major in most humanities subjects, like a foreign language or history. I’m considering applying to study Law, Management/Business, and Maths at the UK universities.

Regarding the second part of your post - I may be missing something obvious here, but I don’t quite see what you mean. Do you mean that some of the things I’ll have learned from my background (like how to cope with adversity) will help in politics, or do you mean that a lot of politicians tend to display near-criminal behaviour?

@Schmaltz: Thanks! I’ll definitely take a look.
